“Me and my wife, we started in 2021 just by feeding and helping out those street children that was lingering around our neighbourhood. Today we have 32 of them in our heart and care. Majority- are preschool age, street baggers, homeless, from families of extreme poverty. Only 8 of our children are true orphans.” - begins his story mr. Pariyono.

Tragic wildfire that happened in may 2023 destroyed temporary place, where orphanage was located for the past two years, left its children in urgent need for a new home.

“And still… We are blessed to have a roof over our heads, even though we worried about rainy season” - continues Pariyono.

As of today, orphanage is located in two small rented houses with only one year contract barely suitable for living. There are no tiles on the floor, no finishing on the walls. Partially.. some walls are missing. One house got no running water, which puts sanitation and hygiene in critical condition. But one of the main concerns of mr Paryiono and his children - is upcoming rainy season. Roofs in both houses are long due for repair.

There are thousands of orphanages in Indonesia that are living far beyond the line of poverty. But together we can do something measurable, something real at least for some of them.

Together we can buy these children a small plot of land and build them a new place. Place that will be well designed, safe and hydro isolated. Place where these kids can sleep in their beds, place that they can call a Home.
